Scince January 2010 Peel and Maas is a new city build on the former cities of Helden, Kessel, Maasbree and Meijel. The major aim behind this merger is leveraging quality of services. Peel and Maas is a young, dynamic and ambitious city, providing opportunities and challenges for residents, companies and other social groups of interest.
As interim project leader Marcel Storms is responsible for the development and implementation of an innovative concept for Real Estate, the work environment and the work style at the Peel and Maas Municipality.
In a first step a rough perspective for a new (or renewed) Town hall was defined. In addition to that temporary accommodation was realized enabling all employees to work from one location. This temporary situation also includes a pilot of an innovative Customer Contact Centre as well as a pilot of an innovative Office Work Environment.
Currently the Town Council is considering prior conditions of next project steps
