Office Concept Monitor

Concept international started the International Workstyle Research Program. The first activity within this program is The Office Concept Monitor. The Office Concept Monitor is based on an international questionnaire and supported by several vision interviews. The programm is participated by 82 large-sized companies and multinationals. The respondents gave their opinions for a population of 68.000 employees (in total 1.495.000 employees are working at these companies).

General results, from 22 % flexible workers up to 70 % innovative offices!
There is a positive attitude towards innovative concepts signalised, resulting from organisational and cultural benefits.

• currently 64 % fixed workplaces, in the desired situation only 19 % would like to work in a traditional situation;
• currently 22 % are working flexibly, in the desired situation 70 % will be working flexibly.

Why, reasons for this change?
The positive attitude is mainly based on the fact that cultural issues are expected to improve due to innovative concepts, such as:

• cooperation within a team 69 %
• achieving the desired company culture 82 %
• creativity of employees 60 %
• motivation of employees 85 %
• corporate image 84 %

Next to cultural also financial issues are expected to improve, for example:

• Productivity: 71 % expect a positive contribution
• Cost reduction: 63 % expect a positive impact on cost-efficiency
